Georgia IT CR Electronic Payments
Is there a way to generate electronic payment instructions in Lacerte for Georgia Form IT CR? The Lacerte instructions tell clients to mail estimated payments, which could result in penalties if the amount is $10,000 or more.
In accordance with O.C.G.A. § 48-2-32(f)(2), composite estimate taxpayers with quarterly payments of
$10,000 or more must pay electronically using the Georgia Tax Center (GTC). A penalty of 10% will be added if the payment is not submitted electronically on GTC.
