why does Form IL-1041, Illinois 'Sch K-1-T' 'Step 2: Identify Your Beneficiary' information NOT carryover to the following year? Looks like the program tries to pull the information from the current yearFederal return , which does not have the information. It should pull the information from the previous years Form IL-1041, Illinois 'Sch K-1-T' 'Step 2: Identify Your Beneficiary', since the information is always the same year to year.

The program should but it doesn't.  Never has.  Does it bug me like it apparently bugs you?  Absolutely.  But you are new here.  You will learn to pick your battles with ProSeries.  Stick around a couple years and you will look back on this and realize this is so minor a problem compared to what you will see here.

Personally, I open the prior year and just copy and paste.  Now to be honest, the most beneficiaries I have encountered is 10.  I agree this could be a real pain in the a$$ if you have 50 beneficiaries.
