Form 8949 code
The instructions provide Code N if the taxpayer received a Form 1099-B or 1099-S as a nominee. Lacerte makes this a check box. I have a client that co-owned 25 pieces of property with another person. The total proceeds of sale were reported under my client's name. IT WOULD BE HELPFUL TO BE ABLE TO ENTER AN AMOUNT WHEN IT IS ONLY PART OF IT IS RECEIVED AS A NOMINEE.
