Form 8936 not attaching to tax return
My client received a tax notice since Lacerte did not attached Form 8936 to the tax return. The taxpayer received a K-1 with a credit on line 13 - Code AZ - Qualified Commercial Clean Vehicle Credit. The K-1 was imported from the S Corp module.
I called and spoke with two representative of Lacerte and they said the only way to get the form to attached to the return was to attached as a PDF file and send with the return.
Why is this form not attached to the return already??
