Form 3468 fix to line 2a
I would like your software writers would make form 3468, line 2a, optional. After researching the instructions and going online to apply for the IRS registration number, I find that in some cases, this registration number is not applicable. This IRS registration number is for non-profit taxpayers electing to take a tax payment or transfer the credit to another entity. It doesn't apply to small facilities generating less than 1 megawatt of clean energy. I was instructed to override the efile diagnostics then efile. Really don't like this.
This was for federal form 1120.
