On the dividend entry screen, we should be able to make the election not to file Form 1116 so we do not have to fill out a separate Foreign Tax Credit screen.

    Current the choice is at form 1116 input screen, a choice in dividend screen will be nice to have.

    Thanks for the idea to "be able to make the election not to file Form 1116 so users do not have to fill out a separate Foreign Tax Credit screen.". We are changing the status to "Open for voting".

    Continue to vote and comment on enhancements by going to the Idea Exchange Home page and select "Status": Open for voting, "Sort by": Most Popular.
