EXCELLENT SUPPORT PERSON FOR DMS

Had an issue in establishing a DMS folder in DMS.  Called for support. A representative responded and attempted to establish TY25 in DMS. After 1 hour 35 minutes on the call, I decided she had no idea as what to do, as I believe she was reading from a manual. I ended the support call, deciding to call back at a later time. Called back at @3:00 P.M., EDST, and spoke to a representative, Peter. During our call he discovered, after confirming I had the current version of the application, which I did, and that the TY25 version was not established yet, discovered a work around to establishing the TY25 DMS link, but it had to be done individually, until the new version was available. Though we spent over an hour on the call, he was excellent, in his presentation, and emailed me the procedure to set up TY25 individually until the program version was available. Since we use DMS for other uses than tax returns, having to wait until late in the year to scan, was a big issue. His procedure outlined to us takes less than 1 minute to individually set up TY25.  While I don't know how long Peter has been with Intuit/Lacerte, he is an absolute gem for support, even apologizing for taking so long to get the work around in the DMS application, until the TY25 version is formally established. If every support person was like him, with his determination to assist a user, the Lacetre Tax program would be great.
