Estimated Taxes Payments
With the upcoming mandate of federal taxes having to be paid electronically, there needs to be an option to be able to submit your federal estimates when they are due to pay them electronically. The current ability to have it schedule it with the return is great for people with steady income but what about business owners that have varying income. One year they may need to pay $5,000 in estimated taxes and the next need to pay $50,000. You also would need to have the return filed by 4/15 every year to get the estimates to pull automatically.
