eSignature fatal flaw

You have a fatal flaw in the eSignature service powered by Docusign. Others may be aware of this, but we just discovered that no record of the correspondence that is sent to a client via e-mail is maintained in your system, nor is provided to a Lacerte user. This is a major problem as it virtually prohibits a user from maintaining a complete and accurate record of correspondence sent to a client. In speaking with technical support today they confirmed this shortcoming, and per their communication with the development team, this is a known issue. What is your plan to correct? This is a fatal flaw that will keep our firm, and my guess is many others, from using eSignature going forward as it prohibits our ability to effectively manage and maintain a complete record of client correspondence.
