Entering Form 1099-DIV Box 2c in lacerte
There is no option for different gain exclusion percentages for the amount reported in Box 2c. Lacerte will only calculate this box as a 50% gain exclusion.
There should be a toggle for 50%, 75% or 100% amount to exclude. This is not an override box like it is on the Disposition input screen. The only remedy to make this work for 100% gain exclusion is to enter double what is reported in Box 2c of the form. Otherwise it takes 50%.
