Educator Expenses Adjustment in Input but not in return on Schedule 1 - Line 11
It sounds crazy.....but the taxpayer received 529 distributions....on the relevant input screen....as soon as I entered a "1", "2", or "3" to specify what type of 529 Plan was involved....one of the educator expenses amounts of $300 "dropped out" and the Schedule 1 - Line 11 amount went from $600 to $300. (both taxpayers are teachers). Crazy!
