Lacerte must do a better job of holding DocuSign responsible for the knowledge base questions used for signing 8879s.   The majority of our clients cannot successfully get through the questions the first time through. Most require  2 or 3 attempts and far too many fail altogether.  We hear over and over and over again from our clients that the questions have nothing to do with them.  Lexus Nexus is obviously using information to derive question from databases that have inaccurate information.   I aware there is the pin method as an alternative, but it is much less secure as our support staff now becomes responsible for managing client pins.  The IRS requires knowledge base for identity verification, that is what we are going to use. Its the responsibility of Lacerte and DocuSign to hold Lexus Nexus accountable to derive the questions from accurate information. They cannot continue to having clients verify their identity with questions from inaccurate data sources.
