Diagnostic reminder to use state estimated tax efile wizard
Can Lacerte generate a diagnostic that reminds us to use the state estimated tax efile wizard when required? It would help us to remember to use the separate efile wizard for state estimated tax payments, as they do not automatically get sent when the return is efiled.
It is easy to miss this requirement and can have severe penalty and interest ramifications if the wizard is not used to transmit the request to process the state estimated tax payment in a timely manner.
