'Description Field' after IRS reject for a dependent available to users

I just had a dependent reject. The description states the following:

Error message: 'DependentSSN' in 'DependentDetail' on the return was used as a Dependent SSN on a previously accepted return for the same tax period. Visit www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/identity-theft-dependents for additional information. To electronically file with this duplicate condition, an Identity Protection Personal Identification Number (IP PIN) will be required. If you wish to get an IP PIN and you don't already have an account on IRS.gov, then you must register to validate your identity. Please visit www.irs.gov/getanippin for further information and resubmit your return with an IP PIN.

Solution: This return has been rejected by the IRS, because one or more of the dependents on this return has already been claimed as a dependent on another return. If multiple dependents are present in this return, review the Description field. There will be a number in brackets, [?], that identifies which dependent is causing this reject. For example: "[2]" will identify the second dependent from the top. Verify that the dependent's information has been entered accurately. Correct any misspellings, omissions, or transpositions. Make sure the dependent SSN is entered correctly. If you want to electronically file this return and claim the dependent, an Identity Protection PIN will be required. Visit www.irs.gov/getanippin for further information.

Code: IND-507-01

As the ERO, we cannot see which Dependent rejected. We have to contact support. We need to be able to know which Dependent rejected without contacting support.

I had the same thing happen.  Is there no way for me to figure out which dependent, without contacting Proconnect Online support? Thanks

@ScottThompson You could contact the client and ask them which dependent had a job last year and a computer this year for filing online to get a refund.  Or if the client is divorced, ask which ex-husband claimed which kid in the wrong year.

End result....upon contacting Proconnect Online via chat....and specifically asking if the "- 01" at the end of the message:  "Code: IND-507-01" means that it's the first dependent showing on the tax return....here's the reply:

"You are welcome, and I know due to the rejection message its very misleading but at the moment there's no way for you on your end to identify the dependent causing the rejection. You would have to contact us via phone or chat and we can give you the details of which dependent is causing the rejection."
