While working in the 2019 program (due to an IRS audit for a client), the IRS auditor requested information that posted to various forms (4797, 4952, etc) from the K-1s received by the client.  Each time I needed backup support for the selected items on the tax forms, I right-clicked onto the amount, then clicked on Cross Reference, hoping to see the amounts (by K-1) that make up the desired item.

No such luck...  It never worked.

This process has worked in the past, but it actually appears to work less now than it used to work.  What's up with that ?

Please let me know that you can develop the software so that any number on a tax form can be "seen" for all sources that feed into that amount.

thanks

Hi there @stevedallascpa
The right-click feature, are you talking about 'jump to input' or another feature?
It's no longer showing up in the 2019 program?
Any screenshots or additional information would be helpful, thanks.

A. Intuit is not going to make any changes to the 2019 program in 2022.

B. Since you prepared the return, shouldn't you be able to tell where the numbers on the forms came from?

The more I know the more I don’t know.
