This year (2023) you have taken away the option to share the data base of vendors information for 1099 and w2 info.  If I have a vendor in multiple companies that I need to send a 1099, I need to reenter the data in each company for that vendor.   If Mike L works for 4 companies, I must enter Mike L for each company as a vendor when creating 1099s for those companies.  I should have the ability to click on Mike Lussier as a PAYEE and have his information defaulted into the system.  You have taken away that feature this year which costs me thousands in extra payroll to complete the tasks at hand.    Mike L.

Thousands?

If it's really that much, get another software that has this feature.

The more I know the more I don’t know.

"Thousands?"

I was kinda thinking someone was trying to win an Oscar for a drama series 😉

sjrcpa  for the record I prepare 1099s for about 500 clients....   certainly no drama here.   you must have a tiny shop

I stopped using Quick Employer Forms years ago. We use Track1099.

FYI - I have a big shop but try to stay away from 1099 prep. I refer clients to Track1099.

The more I know the more I don’t know.

Thanks for the idea to have payee information defaulted into the system.. We are changing the status to "Open for voting".
