Create report by exporting dependent SSN
During our 2021 tax year we had several clients that had to go on extension due to dependents with expired ITIN's. I wanted to prevent this in future years by exporting a report into excel and sort by Social security numbers to create my initial database and send out notifications for clients with ITIN's that may expire on 12/31/2022. The issue is through Lacerte report generator I cannot capture dependent Social Security Numbers, only taxpayer and spouse so I am missing a large number of clients in my report that could be impacted with this issue in 2022. Can Lacerte please add Dependent Social Security number, Dependent First Name, and Dependent Last Name as selectable fields in the custom report settings in future developments.
