Contact Preference
There should be an option to set a primary contact for MFJ clients in Lacerte. We wish we could select whether the taxpayer or spouse was preferred contact. Especially with Link, the invite only goes to the taxpayer's email address listed. There is no option to send to spouse instead, or choose them both, or one or the other. This seems like a pretty standard function of most computer applications. Now we have to go into each client (we have over a thousand) and change the taxpayer's address to the spouse's address, which come on, that's silly. Thanks for listening. Hope this gets fixed soon!
