check box on W2 that state EIN is accurate
The Box on the W2 to check that the State withholding ID number is accurate is below where the state withholding is entered. So if you put in the state withholding first you automatically receive an error message that the box is not checked. It would make more sense to put this check box just above the area where the state withholding is entered.
