Change of "notes" feature

Please bring back the "Notes" feature- it is a crucial reason why I use Proconnect. I have info I use year after year in there for clients- percentage breakdowns of rental expenses between units, etc. I also take notes as I prepare return and can then cut and paste into client communication. It was so easy and useful. New system not helpful

Hi @Boog Thanks for stopping by the community tp post an idea. We have some updated information for this:

Prior year notes are currently available within tax years 2024-2019. Comments is the note functionality for new return notes for Tax year 2025 moving forward. The product team is working to make Tax year 2024 notes available read-only within tax year 2025 to help with the transition.

More updates are to come on timeline of release and persistent comments across tax years.

Notes are used differently than comments. Comments are to your team members. Notes are for tracking in a client. We need BOTH!!
