Automatically open Notes if Data present when return is first opened

These kinds of posts intrigue me.  Folks always seem to want Intuit software to behave like a competitor's software that they previously used.  So I'm curious why you are using ProConnect if Ultra Tax has the features that you like?

Iron has a useful question.   I'd like to know why you switched as well.

The higher ups in our firm chose to make the change to ProConnect. It does not have some of the features of Ultra Tax which is fine, but I figure it doesn't hurt to make suggestions of things we used frequently in the other program. To be fair, Ultra Tax also doesn't have some of the features we will enjoy using in ProConnect.

Also, as stated in my original post, I was going through the suggestions list and saw that people - I'm assuming ProConnect users - were asking for the color to change. I figured why not take it a step further and have it automatically open.

Keep pestering, suggesting, posting and adding your thoughts.  Lacerte and Proconnect need more help from users like you to get better.

I use Lacerte's missing information feature to try to avoid missing tasks and inputs.  I don't know if ProConnect has that feature.

Thanks for the idea to automatically open client notes when a return is opened. We are changing the status to "Open for voting".
