automatic backup time control
Regarding the automatic backups that are being created - please consider running these when we are not trying to prepare tax returns. In our office, the 2021 program would run the backup routine at roughly 9:10 am every day. Our server resources would be totally consumed and our ability to work in Lacerte would come to a halt for several minutes. The 2022 program is kicking off the backup routine between 9 am and 1 pm local time, setting us up for a repeat this year. It's a problem when we are already on a tight schedule with client appointments to have the system essentially "freeze".
