Arizona Individual E-file Limitation
One of my more complex individual clients (multi-state returns, etc.) requires Form 338 (a relatively simple credit form, in my opinion.) Lacerte's diagnostic acknowledges that Form 338 is allowed for Arizona e-file, but then continues, "However, the program does not support this form. This return must be filed as a conventional paper return."
Unfortunately, the inability to e-file the AZ return also means all of the other (nonresident) state returns must also be paper-filed. A huge headache.
PLEASE consider adding Form 338 to the Arizona credit forms supported by the Lacerte e-file program.
