I run Windows 11 using Parallels on a Mac with an M4 processor. In Lacerte 2024 this caused an issue in printing to the Lacerte PDF print option, but caused no other issues.  Lacerte could not sovle the problem for me. For 2025, not only can I not print to the Lacerte PDF printer, it also is not allowing me to send documents for eSignature - I get a pop-up stating "there is an error trying to create the PDF document".  I run the PDF repair tool as prompted, but then I get an error stating "the software for Intuit Amyuni Document Converter 650 may not work correctly". I've even added a fake Lacerte PDF printer, which allows it to think it is creating a PDF, but then I get an error when I try to send the eSignature stating that "Form Federal 8879 is not applicable to this return and it will not be included in the esignature request.  I've wasted hours using AI trying to solve this issue before going to Lacerte.  The very nice agent tried to help me solve it, but in the end Lacerte claims it is "not their issue".

They'll tell you Intuit doesn't support Lacerte installed using virtualized software.

Hi @Taxprepparttime welcome to the Community, and thanks for posting! The system requirements for Lacerte do touch on this and note that it may not be compatible. Here’s a Community post that may help with this.
