Allow EACH federal tax estimates to be paid individually electronically using estimated tax payment wizard
I find it really helpful that we are allowed to cue up most state estimated tax payments individually for payment using the estimated tax payment wizard. I would like this same feature to be offered for federal estimated tax payments. Right now the only way to electronically pay federal estimates for the next year from inside Lacerte is to file the prior year tax return. This is NOT helpful to our clients in any way, if our clients extend their tax returns until October. There are many good reasons to extend an individual tax return until October but we need to be able to help our clients stay current on their next year federal estimates.
