Allow all users to have access to "Assignee" field on all tax returns.

Allow all users to have access to "Assignee" Field on tax return list. This could easily help keep track of the flow of who is currently responsible for a return for all users.

Currently only admin users have access to see and edit the Assignee for a tax return. This means that same admin is the only one the information is useful to or can make changes to it. Making the Assignee visible for all users can help everyone keep track of who/and where the return stands without having to out outside of Proconnect to check.

Yes, this is a critical part of our workflow, and I don't feel like I should have to give my staff full access to our company books (on the QBOA side) in order for them to be able to filter by assignee on the ProConnect side.

Intuit does not "get" how firms work. They are using "One ADMIN shall rule them for all our products."

Given they are a software company they should at least understand the security issues.

The more I know the more I don’t know.

We should be able to delegate this task to a team member without having to give them ADMIN rights.

This seems like an easy change to implement that will make it much easier for firm owners to delegate administrative duties to other team members who do not need full admin rights.
