Add a suggestion / diagnostic for no tax on tips being disallowed because it is a MFS return.
The OBBB provisions are still new to all of us. It would have been helpful tonight to have a diagnostic in the suggestions section informing that the Tax on Tips deduction was disallowed because it was a MFS return. Because this was the first time I had tried to enter tips for a schedule C business owner, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out where to input when the real issue preventing Sch 1-A from populating was that it was a MFS return.Granted, I should have known this, but having a diagnostic in the suggestions section would have saved me time and saved the time of your help rep who had to also review to try to figure out why the form wouldn't populate.
