3840 Fed- CA depreciation different problem
In a Like-Kind Exchange relinquishing CA property for non-CA property, Form 3840 is required. In the case where Federal Depreciation is different from California depreciation, CA Form 3840 does not list the California adjusted basis of the property on Part II, Line 13. It lists the Federal adjusted basis. (Tech support could not solve this issue. Aug 1, 2024)
