Can Form 1310 be eligible to e-file when option A, B or C is checked in Part I?  Currently only option C is allowed for e-filing if you check "No" to all the boxes in Part II which states that no Personal Rep will be appointed.  Otherwise, the return needs to be mailed.

If there is a probate filed then you cannot efile, as you have to attach a copy of the court order naming the personal representative.  Also then the refund will be issued in the name of the estate of xx.

It would be nice if they allowed it (the court order) to be attached so it could be efiled but that is not the case with the irs.

Have one now that we are on six months waiting for the refund.
