I'd like to stipulate that perhaps this is user error on my part but after searching this resource and others, including consultation with PC help desk, I have arrived at this conclusion.

This is my second year (2024+2025 filing season) using PC and I remain disappointed at the fecklessness of the 1099B import tool. I find myself having to enter data manually for this portion of filings and it makes me question the merits of keeping ProConnect as my software of choice.

Is there an .XLS or .CSV file template that can be used for import since PC won't accept the actual 1099-B document from the financial institution? Is there a decent explanation as to why ProConnect refuses to enable, never mind improve this feature? Absent action to solve this, I'm going to have to look to other vendors to replace ProConnect.

Based on posts here, the import function seems to be somewhat sucky.  But then again, since the IRS is kind enough to allow you to enter just the totals for covered sales, I'm not sure why folks beat their head against the wall trying to get the import function to work.
