1095-A error/rejected e-file
Error states that one or more taxpayers on the return had health insurance through the marketplace. Taxpayer(s) had healthcare through their company for the entire year. There are steps on the reject report to certify that there was not in fact a 1095-A for the year but the steps are not relevant to ProSeries Form 1040 at all! Called the help line and the EASY step that should be on the reject report is that the ACA Explanation sheet that is AUTOMATICALLY filled out in the return when you check the box that there was no marketplace insurance purchased has to be printed to pdf format and then ATTACHED to the e-file. 1. the steps on the reject report need to be changed or 2 why in the world does the explanation not automatically get transmitted with the return since it already in the return?!?!?!?
