EFile Error Code 44: Your client's name contains invalid characters, and/or the first and/or last character of the name is not alphabetic

I have tried resolving the issue by removing potential spaces, but the problem persists.

 

What are the options for resolving this issue as this code needs the attention of the Profile Team.

Check the T1 jacket for any characters causing the issue as well as any overrides. If the issue continues call us a 1-800-452-9970 for an agent to assist you.

Good Morning,

 

In an online chat with a Profile technical representative, we determined through trial and error that identifying the return as "The Estate of Mr./Mrs./Ms etc was the problem. We just must use the deceased person's name.
