Will the 2026 Information Return System program be able to transmit 1099s to the IRS?

Since the phase out of the IRS FIRE system will the 2026 Information Return System program be able to transmit 1099s  directly to the IRS or create a compatible file to upload to IRIS?  I need to know if I need to start looking for new software for 2026 forms for the 2027 filing season.
