Why isn't the software updated for 2022 state and federal taxes for payroll calculations?

Tried to do the first payroll of the year and got an error message regarding the tax tables.

Have you updated your software to the 2021/2022 version?

We have the 2021/2022 Professional Series and the 2022 Federal Tax Tables are NOT updated on our system.

Well that's very odd.  Hmm... the only thing I can think of is to try the 'Update Via the Internet' and make sure you have all the updates perhaps?  Ours transferred everything fine for the new year for 2022 tables.  I mean, they haven't updated the tables yet - lol!  But we have 2022 with the old 2021 formulas at least.

Did you get the issue resolved? I just went in the just to look at what changes were in the payroll taxes and I got the same issue - no state tax table. I also have printed my 2021 W2's and 2011 is printed on the form instead of 2021 - anyone else having that issue?
