If you are not able to open EasyACCT after the latest Windows update, follow the below steps as a workaround to resolve the issue:

  1. Open the Windows Tax Manager, Locate the EasyACCT process and select End Task.
  2. Go to the Windows Settings, select Bluetooth & Devices.
  3. Select Microsoft Print to PDF as the default printer
  4. Relaunch EasyACCT.

We’re aware that for users running Windows 11 version 24H2 and 25H2, the latest Windows updates KB5089549 and KB5087051 may cause instability with EasyACCT, including difficulty opening the program.

Customers who haven't yet installed these patches should be aware of this issue when deciding whether to proceed with the update.

For customers who have already installed these patches and are experiencing issues, we are currently investigating potential workarounds. While uninstalling the Windows patches may appear to resolve the issue, doing so can introduce additional complications with EasyACCT, so we do not recommend that approach.

We will continue to monitor the situation and share updates as more information becomes available.
