EasyAcct lost all of my general ledger accounts

Has anyone else had problems with EasyAcct losing all of your general ledger accounts and your bank accounts.   This has happen with 2 of my companies.

Can anyone offer a solution to fix this.  I'm ready to throw EasyAcct out the window.

Have you tried running data file index repairs for those modules?  I've had that happen even in prior versions over the years and it worked.  I'm not sure about this version, but you may try that.

I did on each module I use and it did not help, nor did downloading the new update.

Do you have a backup made before you lost the accounts?  If so,  you can try restoring that into a temporary directory, the use the EasyAcct "Transfer Client Data" utility to transfer the chart of accounts from the temporary directory to your current directory.

I am having the same problem.  Lost Outstanding checks on the Bank Recs, lost data entry on the Enter transaction screens, balance forwards are not correct, etc.  I called them Thursday and they are working on it.  Paid alot of money for this program and have had nothing but trouble for 2 months.   AND IT IS TAX SEASON.  Unexceptable.
