Destroyed my clients information and my business

I tried restoring from previous back up.  Now, no employees are listed, no sales are listed.  Now, no chart of accounts.  I did the restore, I did the repair.  I'm screwed.  Thanks for trashing my business.

You think you have problems? I feel sorry for the Intuit shareholders.

Intuit stock Friday, January 16: $545, down $64.
US markets are closed today. Another drop expected tomorrow due to Greenland Derangement Syndrome. (Closed at $539.25 on Vienna exchange Monday.)

Funny Jim didn't bring up the Intuit stock price.  Usually he is pretty good about keeping us updated about those things 😉

Was the backup made before all of the EasyAcct issues hit or during the middle of the catastrophy?

I had finished entering all data.  Went to reconcile and that is when the system crashed.  Went to pull it back up and the data was gone.

Hi @Bobs68 Thanks for coming to the Community and sharing these details. We understand how frustrating it can be when the software doesn’t behave as expected, especially after you’ve already completed your work.

We recommend reaching out to EasyACCT Support for assistance. They can verify that you’re on the latest release of the program and help check for any automatic backups created which may allow your data to be restored.

I did try to reach out.  Your support was closed yesterday.  The phone keeps ringing today.  I do the updates everytime it says to do it.  I spent 10 hours yesterday just loading the version .01 because everytime I updated to .04 my information would go missing.  I am barely limping by today to meet the Sales Tax deadline.  You need to ensure these updates are tested before you have everyone upload them.  This is a VERY CRITICAL TIME for every preparer.  I will have try and call again after today because I cannot afford the penalties of late filings.
